Panguni Uthiram (Tamil): s a Tamil Hindu festival observed on the full moon (Purnima) day of the month of Panguni, which falls between March 14 and April 13. It coincides with the day when the moon aligns with the Uttiram (Uttara Phalguni) nakshatra and corresponds to the Hindu calendar months of Phalguna or Chaitra. Panguni is the final month of the Tamil solar calendar before the New Year begins. Panguni Uthiram is also spelled as Paiguni Uttaram

The festival holds immense religious and cultural significance, as it commemorates the celestial weddings of several divine couples: Shiva and Parvati, Rama and Sita, Murugan (Kartikeya) and Devasena, and Vishnu (Ranganatha) and Andal. It also marks the manifestation of Ayyappan.

Devotees of Murugan observe the day by carrying kavadi as a form of penance and vow fulfillment, especially in Murugan temples. The Brahmanda Purana mentions that on this day, millions of devas bathe in the sacred Tumburu Tirtha at the Venkateshwara Temple in Tirupati, and devotees believe bathing here can free one from the cycle of rebirth so that they can attain salvation (Moksham)
At the Ekambareswarar Temple in Kanchipuram, which houses the earth-element lingam, a 13-day celebration is held, marking the divine wedding of Shiva and Parvati, also known locally as Gauri Kalyanam.
